ECHO BLADES – Steel with a Past
HISTORY
Steel forgets nothing. Every notch, every scratch, every rust spot is an echo of times past. Traces of work, set tables, and shared moments have been etched into these blades.
With "Echo Blades," I give old knives a new life. Some blades are over a hundred years old. I carefully clean, derust, and straighten them – not to erase their history, but to allow it to continue to resonate.
DESIGN
The blade originates from old Viennese table cutlery (approx. 100+ years old) and has been given a partial serrated edge. It is made of high-quality carbon steel (not stainless) and has a blade length of 13.5 cm.
The handle consists of walnut wood (Arboretum Weltwald Freising), Elforyn, sterling silver, and stainless steel. With the handmade leather sheath, the knife is ready for use on the go.
