COURSE CONTENT

In this course, a tool is created from scratch – by forging, shaping, and working steel and wood.

We work directly with the material. With strength, concentration, and simple means.

A blade emerges from a piece of steel. A handle from wood. Both grow together into a single unit during the process.

The focus is on the work itself:

• Forging
• Grinding
• Hardening
• Tempering
• Sharpening
• Wood and surface treatment

Everything follows the form.
